We loved the central location of this hotel as it was directly in the city center and close to everything. The staff was very friendly and gave us many tips. The cleanliness was impressive, and we were really impressed by the hotel facilities, including the kitchenette hidden in a wardrobe.
Not one thing.

It is difficult to overstate how excellent it was to find such helpful and efficient staff and such a fascinating hotel. Mottola itself is lovely and provides an excellent base for discovering the area. Thank you for your help and generous hospitality.
All perfect! Would recommend to anyone!

Located in the heart of a charming village with a real local vibe, this hotel offers clean, cozy and well-equipped rooms. You can walk to all the attractions of the old center of town, and there are several good and affordable restaurants nearby. the rooms offer amazing views of the valley below the city and come with comfortable beds and other great facilities such as a kitchenette and breakfast coupons for a delicious Italian breakfast.
The rooms may have some minor issues such as a small shower, but they are clean and comfortable with a lot of charm.

It was nice with a kitchenette
It was not a traditional hotel but independent apartments scattered all over the small town. That needs to be much clearer in the description of the “hotel”. In order to use the internet in the public arrears (It was in a busy office not a hotel lobby) we had to walk across town, which was a real inconvenience.

In a small town - very charming, well-restored and well-equipped apartment (ex. washer).
Approximately half the light bulbs were burnt so lighting was scarce. Kitchen items were a mix of this and that (felt like someone's hand-me-downs). We arrived late and arrangements were made to pickup key from the brother of one of the staff. He was unable to answer questions. Difficult to find even with GPS, breakfast is only a coffee and croissant.

Great location, historical center, helpful staff, unique apartments, perfect for visiting Matera and nearby places, interesting interior.
Absolutely nothing.

Very nice traditional houses in the historic centre of the village, with no luxury, but with all the comfort you need. As it was very hot during our stay, we especially appreciated the airco and the refrigerator. Walking in the narrow streets in the evening was very pleasant, with all the villagers out on the street greeting us very friendly.

Ottima la stanza/mini appartamento. Nella piazza centrale. Gentilissimi alla reception!

The rooms were clean and spacious, with good wifi and air conditioning. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of parking available nearby. The nearby restaurants were reasonably priced and offered great local cuisine.
The lack of on-site staff made check-in and check-out a bit confusing, and the nearby breakfast options were not very appealing. the steep stairs in the rooms made it difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues.

the location was perfect, close to everything and easy to access. the room was comfortable, clean and offered a hidden kitchenette that was a pleasant surprise. the hosts were very hospitable and provided helpful recommendations despite the language barrier. the view of the coast was a great advantage as well. a great stay!
The bathroom had a not so pleasant smell, likely due to the lack of windows, but it was clean. the shower was also super small and not functioning as well as it should have.
